Fauquier County Virginia Will Book 36 Page 139-140

I Harris Freeman of the county of Fauquier, in the state of Virginia, do hereby make this
my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me at any time heretofore
made. I give and desire and bequeath all the estate real and personal, or of whatsoever
kind of which I may die seized, possessed, or to which I am in any manner entitled, to my
wife Frances during her life, and at her death to my daughter Bettie P. McConchie as her
separate estate free from the debts of her husband. My funeral expenses and all my just
debts to be paid out of my estate. I hereby appoint my son in law John McConchie of the
county of Fauquier, state of Virginia executor of my last will and testament .In witness
where of I have hereto set my hand and seal this 30th day of August 1877.

A paper written purporting to be the last will and testament of Harris Freeman deceased
was produced to the Court, and fully proven by the oath of G. P. Eliason & E. B. Sisson
attesting witnesses and ordered to be recorded.

John McConchie named exor. In said will, thereupon qualified and gave bond and
security, justified as to sufficiency, payable and conditioned according to law, and
certificate is granted him for obtaining letter executorial in due form of law.
