In the name of God Amen. This 31st day of July in the year of our lord One Thousand and
Eleven, I Robert Freeman of the County of Culpeper and commonwealth of Virginia do make
and ordain this my last will and testament revoking all others.
First: My desire is that my just debts be first satisfied and paid.
2nd To my daughter Elizabeth Collins, I give one Negro woman named Charlotte and all her
future increase, A Negro boy named Jackson, a brood mare called Lula, Cow and calf and
one feather bed and furniture, all of which property she has [secured, begin her full propellant
of my estate].
3rd To my daughter Pricilla Hawkins, I give a Negro girl named Pett and all her further
increase, also a boy named Edmond, a brood mare called Polly, a cow and calf and one
feather bed and furniture, all of which properties she has received being her full proportion of
my estate.
4th To my son Robert I give one Negro boy named Thomas and a girl Betty and all her future
increase, one mare Jude, one cow and calf and one feather bed and furniture, which property
he has received,
5th To my son George I give one Negro man Jack, one woman Hannah, one boy Frank, one
girl named Tammy with all her future increase, my riding mare, known by the name of The
Maid one other horse the Leron and choice of my stock, one cow and calf and one feather
bed and furniture,

6th To my aforesaid sons, Robert and George, I give all my lands to be divided between them
in the following manner, vis To Robert one half on the Culpeper side of the tract on the north
side of the river, whereon I know live, with an addition of twelve acres, To George the residue
of the tract on the lower side to include my dwelling, house and other buildings, also -----
acres on the South side of the river, perched by me of William ------:
And all the remained of my lands to be equally divided between my said sons, they being
bound And is hereby respectfully understood that they are to pay unto their two sisters, Polly
and Harriet the following leases, via Robert to pay to each of his said sisters the sum of Fifty
Five Pounds Virginia Currency, and George to pay them the same sum within three years after
they or either of them shall arrive at lawful age or marry, But if either of my said daughters,
Polly or Harriet should depart this life before they arrive at lawful age or marry, then my said
sons shall be released from the judgment of this part.

7th To my daughter Polly I give one Nero girl, Nelly and child David with all the future
increase of said Nelly, and also one boy named Jonas, one mare the first choice of my stock,
one cow and calf, and one feather bed and furniture.
8th To my daughter Harriet, I give one Negro girl Sally, with all her future increase, and one
boy Roberson, one horse third choice of my stock, one cow and calf and one feather bed
and furniture.
9th All the rest and residue of my estate not heretofore bequeathed, I give to be equally
divided among my hereafter named children vis Robert, Polly, George and Harriet, as these
legal representatives.
Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my sons Robert and George executors of this my last
will and testament, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year
first above written.
