This Indenture made this Fifteenth day of May 1775 between Robert Freeman Junr, and
Ann[Anna] his wife of the county of Fauquier of one part and Harris Freeman of the county of
Culpeper witnesseth that said Robert Freeman and Ann his wife for the sum of Seven pounds
Four Shillings and one penny current money of Virginia have granted unto said Harris Freeman a
parcel of land situate in the Little Fork of Rapadan River of County of Culpeper including the
plantation whereon John Walker & Benjamin Walker now live and bounded, Beginning at Two
red oaks near at the head of Pole Cat Branch thence South to one Maple at the head of Miry
Branch thence down the said branch to mouth of Pole Cat Branch to the beginning and
containing One Hundred Acres.
